Description:
Michael Goldberg is casting ‘Untitled Movie Still Project’. This is a photographic art project comprising a series of still images from an "imaginary movie" in the vein of work by photographers like Cindy Sherman and Jeff Wall. Each photo will be designed to convey the mood, tension and atmosphere of a different "imaginary movie scene". The intended purpose of the finished series is exhibition and/ or publication. Shoots will take place on location in and around Hollywood. Shoot dates and locations TBC
Seeking male and female actors of all ages to play characters, one to two characters per shoot. Actors will be cast first, based on submission info (see below). Scenes will be devised and shot in conjunction selected actors, based on discussions / ideas about character and scene circumstances.
Payment info: $75 plus out-of-pocket expenses for a 1-2 hour shoot.

After giving up hope, a terminally ill care-free man turns his life upside down when a caring stranger shows him that life is worth living every day.

Traveling Through Life Los Angeles 2012-01-13

Description:
Traveling Through Life is a short science fiction film. Travelling Through Life is the story of an average American boy, Michael, who soon
finds something is not right with his life. His mother is lying to him. She has a dark
secret, one that threatens to destroy them both.
Breakdown Description:
Michael – 8 yrs old (actual actor 10-13 yrs old) Michael is a normal average boy on the surface, but he is quite different. He’s intelligent well beyond his years, as he is the subject of a massive mental training regimen. He’s well-spoken and well-behaved, but a bit despondent, as if he knows something is controlling his life.

Michael – 16 yrs old (actual actor approximately 16-20) At this stage, Michael is a little less of a good natured boy, as he has been under constant pressure of his training regimen for many years. Emotionally, he seems a little underdeveloped, and is still often despondent, among the mounting evidence that his world is not what it appears to be.

Michael’s Mother – 40-60 yrs old
She is in many ways, the perfect mother – kind, loving, and devoted to her child. Elements of a modern day June Cleaver. But she has a secret job to do, and is very focused on achieving her objective. She constantly worries that secret will be discovered.

Mr. Wilson – 40-60 yrs old (probably better if he’s older) Mr. Wilson is the ‘fix it’ man for Michael’s house. A kindly older man with a genial disposition, always with a smile on his face as he goes about his work. But when a problem arises, he can be come deadly serious.

Professor Markfield – 40-60 yrs old
Markfield is a dedicated scientist, striving to achieve a monumental scientific breakthrough that will save his people. Generally a good natured and optimistic man, he struggles to keep his optimism in a rote daily life of servitude and solitude (except for Belus).

Professor Belus – 50-60 yrs old
Professor Belus works on the project with
Markfield – but the optimism is absent in Belus. He is even more committed to the project as Markfield, perhaps because the servitude forced upon him has crushed his emotional coping ability. What’s left is blind focus on his job, and an acidic worldview and attitude towards those around him

Cindy – 8 yrs old
She is Michael’s next door neighbor. She is very similar, as she undergoes the same regimen, but she seems much more well-adjusted to the situation.

Cindy 16 yrs old
At this point she is blooming into a beautiful young woman. Perhaps a little resentful that Michael never seems to notice. But she’s always willing to engage him in some intellectual smack down.
