| Description: Weâre casting for a dark, romantic tragicomedy. PsychoNappyCinema Productions is casting non-union principles, supporting cast, and background for SPINSTER, a dark romantic tragicomedy in which two oddballs are fond of one another but one of them canât embrace the exciting possibility of a new relationship. Intended for submission to film festivals. This no-budget feature film will be shot mainly on a Canon 7D DSLR rig, along with the Rebel t2i and HD video. Michelle Lewis is the writer/ director/ producer, and is casting for this film. Shooting to begin in early September thru the fall in one Brooklyn neighborhood + a few spots in Manhattan, too. You will be notified of audition dates. Both professional and non-professional actors are welcome! Compensation: Paid or Non-Paid + Film Credit, DVD Copy + Meals, Snacks and Beverages. One day, tired of waiting for him to make his big move, she approaches him instead. A strange conversation between the pair reveals the man has never seen the woman before. Yeah rightâ¦itâs not like she exactly blends in with the crowd! Curious, she embarks on a journey to see what his problem is. The more peculiarities she uncovers, the more sheâs smitten with him. Her magical boots shoo away SUV-baby-strollers, gentrificationists, and all-round general assholes, but they do nothing to draw him closer to her. Sheâll have to rely on other means to get what she wants⦠|
